We have a lot of fun both in and out of the house. Last spring we had a formal in Chicago. Early this past fall we rented out the brand new Winner's Circle at Churchill Downs in Louisville. It was such a great experience that we already rebooked it for next year. We also have a trip to Nashville planned for February 2016.

 

We also have four formals every year in Bloomington. OXtoberfest (Fall) - This is a country themed party where we throw about 2,500 lbs. of hay in the courtyard with bales lining the outside as seats. OXmas (Christmas/Winter) - We tape wrapping paper on all of the walls, buy blow up santas, and hang Christmas lights in the formal. Valentine's Day - We decorate the house in red and pink hearts. Theta Chisland (Spring) - This is a beach themed party where we fill the courtyard with sand and beach balls.
