Theta Chi        Fraternity

The OX-box, as we like to call it, looks pretty much the same as when it was built in 1969 and it has been home to Theta Chis ever since. The Realty Corporation, which owns the house, is all composed of Theta Chis and supports the active brothers that come through. It is still a big square surrounding an awesome courtyard with the formal, kitchen, and recreation room on the first floor -- along with the living quarters upstairs. There is a basketball court in the backyard that gets used almost everyday in good weather. 

 

Recently, there have been numerous improvements to the house. Over the summer, the foyer, formal, conference room, and alumni suite all underwent revisions. The carpet in every room was replaced and changed from red to a gray pattern. The fireplace was taken out of the formal and replaced with a nice wall that we plan to put photos on of alumni while they were in the house. On the south wall in the formal there is now a board containing all the names and pin numbers of all the brothers initiated at Alpha Iota since its beginning. The additional storage room/rec room was converted to a bike room with spinners, a workbench, TV, and speaker system.
